Same same, but different
During the winter months I can’t help but gravitate towards a darker colour palette; commonly wearing all black ensembles. But with spring coming in early, transitional dressing has me picking winter whites and tonal greys.
Though dressing head-to-toe in subtle variations of a single colour may seem monotone, there is actually something to be said about the ease with which each piece falls together and the effortless look it creates. Besides the practicality, tonal dressing provides a clean aesthetic.
For an effortless look, wear varying shades of the same hue and make sure to keep it fresh by playing with shades and textures – think soft fur, thick wool, and leather. And since it is still winter, there’s no harm in some well assorted layers and a casually draped coat, like so.
