Marsala is a powerful colour. If the reasons behind Pantone's decision to make it colour of the year back in 2015 is anything to go by, it is a colour that "enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability." And I can't disagree. Having dabbed into the millenial pink trend with great gusto these past months, I am now very much into warm earthy tones for fall and cannot resist Marsala's red-brown roots. Universally appealing for its flattering wine like hue, there is also something to be said about the seductive nature of this deep red shade. This dress, though rather conservative in its length and cut, oozes flavour thanks to it's varying texture and unassuming cleavage zip. Couldn't resist throwing a little 70's extra thanks to my gold rim pink lens sunglasses. And you, what's your favourite colour for fall?
