One of the most valuable skills a girl can have when it comes to clothes is creativity. By that I mean the ability to continually rework the items already in her closet. It's easy to give in to the all to common "I have nothing to wear" feeling, but with a little skill and a lot of trial and error, you'll be sure to make the most of your wardrobe. Now of course with every season there will often be the temptation to make a few new purchases here and there, but an instant update doesn't necessarily have to mean new clothes. Take this dress for example, it was a winter sale purchase that hadn't gotten much wear thus far. The high neck and long sleeves didn't scream summer to me so I wore it back to front and paired it with my good old hunter boots. Take note, any dress that can be worn back to front and look just as good, will be worth every penny.

Take the whimsy out of a ruffled floral dress with outdoorsy separates and laid back attitude. Wear your dress with the ease of a t-shirt and make it a viable option year round. And if your planning on attending any -UK- festivals, keep your footwear practical for the occasional dirt track or muddy field (old sneakers or hunter boots are always top of my list).
