CORNWALL TRAVEL DIARIES PART I - NEWQUAY
Driving down from Bristol, our tour was designed to curl around the Cornish coast from North to South. First stop on the itinerary: Newquay. Sitting atop Cornwall's Atlantic cliffs and bordered by seven miles of sandy beaches, Newquay was the obvious -but not overrated- gateway into Cornish territory. Besides its beautiful beaches, incredible surf and abundance of charm, Newquay also boasts great food and the friendliest people. Highlights include Fistral beach, walks along the Gannel Estuary at low tide and breakfast at Box & Barber Coffeehouse. Be sure to try the avocado toast, by far one of the best I've tasted in a while!
