BYRON BAY PART II - LIGHTHOUSE
It was on our last morning in Byron Bay that I finally made the climb up to the lighthouse (full disclosure: I chose to forego the walk up and favoured a quick drive up and a slow walk down). Having missed out on a sunset trip up the night before, I was determined to fit it in before we'd hit the road again. The ride up an indication of the breathtaking views to come, I was eager to reach the top.
From up there, the blues seemed endless. Nature's beauty, a reminder of what we are fighting to protect. Every corner offers an incredible panorama, and the opportunity to spot dolphins and look out for whales. Nothing quite like watching the dolphins play whilst basking in the glorious morning sunshine.
